Thysanolaena
Thysanolaena latifolia consist of round stem with narrow,long, pointy leaves and sometimes in a heart shape. These are grown from a seed which looks like a bamboo but actually atr perennial grass. These are mainly used as screener and as hedges. Though thysanolaena latifolia adds no medicinal value its flowering panicles are used to make longlasting brooms. These are also known as Tiger Grass or Asian Broom Grass.
