Anthurium
Anthurium are the heart-shaped flower which are one of the longest-lasting on earth originating from the tropical rainforests of Colombia, Guatemala and the Amazon region in Brazil. Anthurium belongs to the Arum family (Araceae) and its genus name comes from two Greek words ‘Oura’ and ‘Anthos’ which means “tail flower” and the plant’s stem grow to a height of 15-20 inches. It consists of a spathe and the spadix, on which the flowers are found and generally comes in shades of red, white and pink colours.
